The Chief Mechanic’s Service is one of the key departments of the enterprise, with over 30 full-time employees, the majority of whom are highly qualified and experienced in the adjustment, maintenance, and repair of welding, heat treatment, lifting, and metal-cutting equipment, including modern CNC machining centres.

The expertise of the staff and the availability of appropriate instruments enable the continuous monitoring and maintenance of the required operational precision of the equipment. The department’s specialists have extensive experience in the commissioning and modernisation of machine tool equipment. Through the company’s own efforts and with the direct involvement of the Chief Mechanic’s Service, more than 20 units of lifting equipment with a capacity of up to 45 tonnes have been designed, manufactured, certified, and commissioned.
Currently, the employees of the Chief Mechanic’s Service are undertaking the full scope of work to restore the operational capability of equipment damaged during hostilities.
Looking ahead, and given the department’s capabilities, the management of MPP ENERGOSPETSMASH LLC is considering offering repair, commissioning, and modernisation services for equipment to external clients as a separate line of business.
